The Australian Marmalade Awards kicked off yesterday with the ringing of the church bell in Birregurra! Committee Chair Belinda Stewart and Treasurer Georgie Seebeck were joined by Kylie Edwards from Birregurra Community Health Care and Ami Hillege from the Colac Area Health Foundation to mark the occasion.
The competition is open to all home cooks, and you have till the end of September to get your entries posted to Birregurra. We're looking forward to seeing many delicious variations!
Be sure to check out the previous posts where Ian Tolley explains how to choose the best fruit to make marmalade, and Allison Reynolds gives us a masterclass in making Oxford Marmalade.
Happy cooking!
